NFL Sunday Ticket package for many Direct TV subscribers. But what if you do not have the Sunday Ticket package? What kind of deals are in store for you if you are a first time customer?
The 2010 deal for new customers is similar to the deals offered over the past few years. If you are with Dish Network or one of the big cable TV companies, you can strike a pretty good deal with Direct TV by signing up for new service which requires a two year agreement. If you sign up and pay for the Sunday Ticket package, which runs about $300 for the season, Direct TV will give you five months free of their top programming package. The
Direct TV Premier bundle is the incentive, which usually runs $115 a month, so you are getting about $675 in free programming over the next five months or so. In addition, they will set you up with one of their HD DVR boxes and one HD receiver in addition. You do have to pay monthly fees for the DVR, but the new whole home DVR offered by Direct TV can give you access throughout your home to recorded content, so it is a pretty sweet deal for first time customers.
