Finding Refurbished Paintball Guns

Many paintball enthusiasts do not have the finances to purchase new equipment. When budget is a concern, a used or refurbished paintball gun is the way to go.

The refurbished guns are not lower quality, as they meet any original factory set standards. When you purchase a refurbished gun, you are saving the environment and your wallet. These guns are a lot less than a new model. When these are refurbished, there is usually little that is wrong with the gun itself. Usually, there is one or two broken or malfunctioning pieces. Usually, these are one year old or less and are returned by owners who still have current warranty coverage. The manufacturer will repair the item and usually send the owner a new gun. These refurbished models will be sold at a deeply discounted rate. This is sometimes up to half off the original price.

With the savings from the gun, you can spend the leftover money on accessories such as gloves and safety masks. Some of these items can also be bought used; saving you the most amount of money. When shopping around, be wary of items marked as new at deeply discounted rates. You may be getting a refurbished gun instead. This is the sign of a dishonest company.

When getting a refurbished gun, stick with factory items. Small local stores may claim to do refurbished items, but these are probably not to the level of quality as one from the factory direct. It is also advisable to stay away from online listings of refurbished guns. Sites such as ebay and Craigslist will sometimes contain scams where you can be receiving stolen goods that were listed on the site as being refurbished. If unsure about the gun, steer clear from it. Go with a reputable dealer for your paintball gun. Take a look at Kingman Spyder Sonix or Spyder Xtra.
