Small Bathtubs Can Fit in Tight Spaces

It might seem odd that people are getting bigger, in general, but small bathtubs are getting smaller. Just what is going on in the factories of bathtub manufacturers, anyway?

Well, before you discount the new styles of small bathtubs, you really should take a look at them. Instead of being long and thin so that you can lie down, they typically are square, or fit in a corner, or are round. What? Where will my feet go? The answer to that question is, in the bottom of the tub. These new small tubs are designed to be sat in, much like you would a hot tub. Each of them contains a seat, or seats, so that it's still possible to sit in the tub and relax and soak.

For a while, these types of tubs had to be sunken into the floor to give enough depth for people's legs, but lately they are being built with a platform for them to stand on, giving them more depth and also conserving space without having to tear up the floor for installation.

With the sturdy materials used to construct these tubs, there is no reason that you can't find a small bathtub to fit in even the smallest bathroom. Also, there is no reason to fore-go any nice features that you want, because chances are one of these tubs has those features.

Walk-in bathtubs are designed for people with limited mobility. They have a door on one side for you to get in, then you sit down on the seat and close the door, completely sealing it watertight. There are a number of different variations on this tub's design, but the walk-in capabilities are what sets it apart from other tubs.

Many people are re-doing small bathrooms and looking to add a tub. When doing so, they find that a standard sized tub just won't work. Luckily, many bathtub manufacturers also make many different styles of small tubs for homeowners to choose from.
